Great News for Home Buyers in Maricopa County Arizona, housing just became more affordable for you, with the Home in 5 program. This is a grant program that provides the down payment assistance to low and moderate income to individuals and families purchasing a home. Home buyers like yourself can receive 5% (6% to a Vet) of their first mortgage to be used as a down payment. This translates to FREE down payment. This grant is given to Home Buyers that wish to buy in Maricopa county and the city of Phoenix. This grant does not have a repayment clause.
Here are some of the guidelines of this program:
* Primary Residence, owner occupied only
* Single family residences or condos
* Does not have to be a first time home buyer
* Minimum FICO score of 640 required
* Maximum household income $88,340.00
* Maximum purchase price $300,000.00
* FHA or VA loans
* No repayment required for this grant.
* Buyers will need to complete a Home buyer’s Education Class
